The Olympics 3rd grade style

In the 3rd grade, at Foundations, the history focus for the year is on Greece so to finish off the year with a fun activity they get to have their very own Olympics. It was so fun to watch all of these kids take the Olympics so seriously! Jaxon was golfing with his dad the day before the Olympics so he didn't get to choose his events like everyone else. He ended up with the shot put and the long jump... the two things he DIDN'T want to do. But he had a great attitude and did his best. All of the kids ran in the marathon which Jaxon took 5th in out of 55 kids...Pretty good I thought.

Jaxon was on the Corinthians team!
Shot put
Marathon...Only three kids got trampled...no seriously.
This is Jaxon's good friend Hodges. Yes, he is a year older but these two LOVE sports. It seems as though Hodges is going to have the advantage!
